Passivhaus EnerPHit renovation (Ranton Green, Staffs)2017-01-07T10:09:28+00:00

Project Description

Our clients for this project chose to refurbish an old farm building to the Passivhaus standard for renovations, known as EnerPHit. A new build wasn’t an option for them, due to local planning restrictions preventing new developments in the locality.  To achieve this very high level of energy efficiency, we installed a new timber frame inside the existing brick walls. A new metal roof was installed to mimic the original roof. Our clients plan to go through the full EnerPHit certification process, making this our first certified EnerPHit project.
